Twenty-two years ago, I embarked on a journey that would not only define my career but also shape my purpose in life. It all began in Seattle, Washington, where I entered the world of electrical work through an apprenticeship with my local union. This wasn't just a job; it became my calling. For a decade, I immersed myself in the intricacies of being an electrician, fueling my passion with every circuit I completed and every home I lit up.
The Dream Takes Shape
However, my ambition didn't stop at technical expertise. Driven by a vision and supported by the unwavering belief of family and friends, I ventured into the unknown. The economic downturn of 2010-2011 was a challenging period, but it also presented an opportunity. With a van, a handful of tools, and a dream, I founded my own business. Starting with a significant project for my church, I felt an unparalleled sense of achievement and purpose. This milestone wasn't just about completing a job; it was the birth of a lifelong mission to serve my community through quality, affordable, and efficient electrical services.
Building a Legacy
Over the next decade, my business grew from a solo venture into a thriving company with over 20 dedicated employees. Our success was built on a foundational principle: customer first, profit second. This mantra guided us in establishing and nurturing relationships that went beyond transactions. We treated our customers like family, educating and empowering them to make informed decisions. In 2023, life presented a new adventure. Supporting my wife's career opportunity with Google in Texas, we embarked on a new journey. This move was not an end but a continuation of my mission to empower through electrical services. Relocating and rebranding with EMPWR Electric, I bring to Texas the same principles that defined our success in Seattle, enriched by the latest tools and innovations to enhance our customer experience.
